Executive |
|
- The Executive will be elected immediately after the elections to the Assembly, and will meet at least once a month.
- The Executive will be formed according to the following key:
- One-third will be comprised of the following positions: YACHAD’s chairperson, Knesset members, YACHAD’s secretary general, chairperson of Histadrut faction, chairperson of Na’amat faction, secretary of Kibbutz Ha’artzi, chairperson of Veterans Forum, chairperson of Municipal Forum, Zionist Executive’s representative, chairperson of Women's Forum, chairperson of Gay Forum, chairperson of Young YACHAD, chairperson of Student Forum, chairperson of YACHAD Youth, YACHAD elected mayors.
- Two-thirds will be elected by the Assembly.
- The Executive will elect the Executive chairperson.
- The Executive will deliberate and rule on issues on the Party’s agenda and will direct the Party’s activities and representatives in the political and administrative areas.
- Subject to all laws, the Executive will be authorized to pass any decision and take any action on behalf of the Party that is not under the purview of any other Party institution by virtue of the law, the Party’s constitution or its regulations.
- By a vote of a majority of its members, the Executive will be entitled to expand its ranks up to 10% of its size on the day it was elected, within three years of the last Knesset elections. The expansion will require the Assembly’s approval.
